Hi, I'm Cassie.
I'm a learning strategist, instructional designer, speaker, and lifelong advocate for the power of education to create meaningful change.
With nearly 20 years of experience across K-12 education, higher education, workforce development, and professional learning, I've dedicated my career to helping people build knowledge, develop skills, and apply what they learn in ways that make a lasting impact. Today, I partner with organizations to create learning experiences that are engaging, evidence-based, and designed to drive meaningful change.
My Journey
My career began in education, where I discovered a passion for helping people learn, grow, and succeed. What started in the classroom eventually expanded into curriculum development, instructional design, workforce development, and learning strategy.
Over the years, I've worked with learners at every stage of life, from young children discovering new concepts to professionals building specialized skills and advancing their careers. These experiences have reinforced a belief that continues to guide my work today: effective learning is never one-size-fits-all.
Whether I'm designing eLearning experiences, developing curricula, facilitating workshops, conducting research, or speaking at conferences, my focus remains the same: creating learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and meaningful.
My Philosophy
I believe learning should do more than deliver information.
The most effective learning experiences help people think differently, build confidence, develop new skills, and apply what they learn in meaningful ways. That's why my work is rooted in adult learning theory, human-centered design, and a commitment to creating experiences that support both individual growth and organizational success.

Beyond the Work
Learning and development are at the center of my professional life, but they are also deeply connected to the values that guide me outside of work.
I believe growth happens when people are given the right support, opportunities, and encouragement. That belief extends beyond learning environments and into the communities I serve.
One of the ways I stay connected to that mission is through animal rescue and fostering. Over the years, I have cared for, socialized, and helped place numerous kittens, working alongside rescue organizations and community members to provide vulnerable animals with a safe start and a chance to thrive. The experience has reinforced lessons that are equally important in learning and development: patience, adaptability, empathy, and the power of meeting individuals where they are.
Whether I'm designing a learning experience, writing a white paper, speaking at a conference, or caring for a litter of foster kittens, my goal remains the same: creating opportunities for growth, supporting positive outcomes, and helping others reach their full potential.
Because meaningful change begins with support, connection, and a willingness to invest in growth.
